What surprised me, beyond the disturbing event of following a possible kidnapping, was how many minutes the people at 911 put you on hold, and how many times you were transfered! Sounds like when you have to call the bank. What happens when you are the one being kidnapped? Or if your house is on fire? Reminds me a bit of the time we lived in Signature Suites...we would have to call the cops at least once a week for people beating other people outside of the hotel pub, or dealing drugs, or breaking into cars.
